About me
Natalie Raia is a Earth Science Cyberinfrastructure Research Scientist in the College of Information Science at the University of Arizona. She collaborates with library and information scientists, systems engineers, researchers, publishers, and academic societies to develop and drive solutions that reduce friction in the open science ecosystem and deliver on individual stakeholder goals and needs. Natalie currently Co-Chairs the Research Data Alliance (RDA) Working Group, "Coordinating Earth, Space, and Environmental Science Data Preservation and Scholarly Publication Processes (Repo2Pub)," and is a Board Director for the American Geophysical Union (AGU). Natalie was a 2024 ESIP Community Fellow supporting the Physical Sample Curation Cluster and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Physical Sample Curation Cluster.
